Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth, founded in 1970, was the first home-delivered meal program in the state of Delaware. The program is now in its 34th year of service to the local community.  Meals on Wheels provides two meals a day, 365 days each year to more than 200 homebound residents in the Lewes, Rehoboth and Harbeson areas.  

Meals are catered by Harbor Healthcare in Lewes and delivered to the homebound by volunteer drivers.  Most volunteers work 2 hours a week, make a round trip of 25 to 40 miles and deliver 10 to 20 meals.  Our volunteer force is comprised of approximately 100 volunteer drivers and board members.  Since 1995, Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth has delivered over 664,121 meals!
